“A classic colour palette. The use of timber panelling on the ceiling gives an earthy clean finish to elevate the dark stone and cabinetry. The fluting on the solid finish of the unit gives subtle sophisticated finish. The dark matching glass on the shower as uniquely different and marries in with the vein stone splash back wall.

Simple round ring light mirror and elevated curved rectangular vanity blending with the slither stone white bench.

The floor gently picks up the ceiling and its subtle finish allows the gentle drama of dark and light interplay with each other.  Very sophisticated wall lights finishes of this very tasteful bathroom space,”

More about the project –

Seascape Ensuite Bathroom Renovation, the project involved the design and execution of a bespoke ensuite bathroom located on Victoria’s Surf Coast.

The objective was to deliver a highly functional and minimal space using durable, high-performance materials, in alignment with Passive House principles for comfort and thermal efficiency.

The bathroom includes natural stone elements, with a black granite shower base and full-height Dekton Somnia walls in the shower and vanity splashback.

The main wall surfaces are finished in Marmarino Clay, selected for its breathable, natural texture.

The space features a solid timber fluted ceiling and tiled flooring in penny round Bianca Carrara marble mosaics with grey grout. Fixtures and fittings include matte black tapware, a centrally positioned round LED mirror, alabaster wall lights, black-framed downlights, and a shelf-mounted makeup mirror on stone.

Cabinetry custom built, with fluted black fronts and Alabaster vanity top. The design focused on clarity, restrained detailing, and material integrity while meeting contemporary performance standards in residential interior design.

This bathroom features a floating vanity unit with custom shaker profile drawers and built-in finger grips, all finished in a warm custom stain.

The hero of the space is the bespoke double basin in Roman Classic Travertine, with an apron front that highlights the beautiful earthy tones of brown and beige running through the stone.

Above, twin wall-mounted American Oak Veneer shaving cabinets offer both function and finesse, combining open shelving with inset mirrors and a hidden push-to-open mechanism for a clean, minimalist look.

The result is a bathroom that feels elevated, thoughtfully detailed, and effortlessly serene.
