Celebrating the Best in Cabinetry and Design
The 2026 Independent Cabinet Makers (ICM) Geelong Cabinetry Awards brought together the region’s finest cabinetmakers, interior designers and industry suppliers for a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and collaboration. With a record number of entries received, this year’s awards highlighted the depth of talent across the Geelong, Surf Coast and Bellarine regions, with projects ranging from kitchens and bathrooms through to commercial joinery, outdoor kitchens and house lots.
Judged through a blind assessment process, entries were evaluated solely on their merit by an independent panel of industry experts. Judges were impressed by the outstanding standard of work, noting the exceptional craftsmanship, innovative design solutions, attention to detail and quality finishes showcased across all categories.
VIP Awards Evening
The winners were announced at a special Awards Evening hosted by event partners e&s and event sponsors Fisher & Paykel and Brodware.
Held in front of a packed audience of entrants, sponsors and invited guests, the evening was expertly emceed by television presenter Walt Collins, who brought his trademark energy, humour and storytelling to the event.
Walt is a familiar face on Australian TV, known for hosting lifestyle series including Healthy Homes Australia and Buy to Build. He also starred in Country House Facelift, renovating a farmhouse in regional Victoria during the pandemic.
A skilled DIYer with a down-to-earth style, Walt has built a strong social following and is the owner and principal of BSTV, producing television content, commercials and lifestyle series.

Meet the Judges
Frank Iaria is an experienced kitchen and interiors designer and the driving force behind Mint Kitchen Group by Designwize in Melbourne.
With 40 years of experience in the design, cabinetry, and interiors industry, Frank has built a strong reputation for design detail, functionality, craftsmanship, and client-focused outcomes.
Christina Elvin brings over 25 years of experience across design, construction and Australian manufacturing.
Known for her collaborative and commercially minded approach, she works closely with architects, designers, builders and cabinet makers to support innovation, strengthen specification outcomes and contribute to sustainable growth across the built environment.
Geelong’s Darren Grayson, is an experienced home designer.
He specialises in a holistic approach to creating harmonious living spaces. Darren has an innate talent for blending intricate floor plans, elevations, and interiors, and harmonious projects.
