Pantone Colour of the Year 2022: Very Peri = Wattyl Turkish Bazaar

The Pantone Colour of the Year 2022 is VERY PERI.  To mark the occasion Wattyl has announced its perfect match for this colour – TURKISH BAZAAR.

This periwinkle shade of blue, with violet-red undertones, is a brand new Pantone colour that is dynamic, creative, intriguing yet possesses all the qualities of constancy and faithfulness the blues are renowned for.

Pantone says Very Peri is intended to encourage courageous creativity and imaginative expression and is a direct response to the period of transition and upheaval we have all been experiencing.  Hence the need to create a brand new colour for 2022, one that reflects the global innovation and transformation that is taking place.

The vibrant hues of Wattyl Turkish Bazaar are reminiscent of many of the colours found in nature, such as the periwinkle and lavender flowers as well as the plumage of birds such as the Satin Bower Bird.
